POA Participation in LCPS

The Lebanese Center for Studies (LCPS) invited Mr. Mahdi Yahya, founder and Chairman of Peace of Art NGO, as a keynote speaker at a conference on "Lebanese youth's Involvement in the Political Process" under the title "The Political and Citizen Journalist Roles of Youth in Rebuilding Lebanon". The President of Peace of Art, Ms. Vera Al-Mawla, represented the founder and Chairman of the Association, so that the session began by talking about the structural obstacles that prevent young people from participating in political life, the impact of the current Lebanese crisis on youth political participation, in addition to the obstacles that challenge women when mentioning participation in political life. The panel discussion concluded with questions raised by attendees on the main topic.
